    I started listening/reading this book hoping that it was going to be as good as The River Pack series which was my introduction to this wonderful author. I was not disappointed Although this story is a 'stand alone' it does start where the three River Pack books finished.

    Owen is an ex military sifter who had been illegally imprisoned and experimented on for over a year before being rescued by The River Pack. He now belongs to the River Pack along with his service buddy Jace River and he works for Riverwise Security. He is assigned to be the bodyguard for Nova Wilding.

    Nova has recently taken over as the CEO of Wild Ride a computer gaming company after her father was murdered. The whole of the River Pack and the Wilding Pack have been outed and are now at risk.

    I never give spoilers so I can't really say too much more without doing so. What I will say is that yet again Alisa Woods has given us a wonderfully strong but damaged hero who needs the love of his mate to, if not cure him then, make him whole. There are some very tense moments in the story when you have to hold your breath and hope for the best.

    Nova is a very strong woman and you just have to hope she will follow her heart and not take the wrong mate.

    I loved the riverside stories and did not think I would take to the Wilders as much. How wrong could I be this I just the first book and I absolutely loved it. It helped that there is a continuation from the first three books and I loved Owen.
    The plot is paced well and the sex hot between the two great characters. There is nothing I did not enjoy except it ended too soon. Beware it may be the start of a spin of series but you should read the brothers stories to gain a better understanding of what is happening. Read and enjoy. Cannot wait for the next one.

    Yes they have mated, but the story continues!!
    To complete the story to the conclusion, you have to buy the next book, or even one the after that, which I won't be doing. Not because the story sucks, but because I don't like to be coerced into purchasing more books just to get a conclusion.

    You must read the Riverwise Security series before starting this book. It gives the full introduction needed to both Owen Harding, and the Wilding wolf pack.
    This was a free book to introduce the follow-up series all about the Wilding Pack. After thoroughly enjoying the first series, I couldn't not dive straight into this one. This hot shifter romance did not disappoint.

    I enjoyed this. I discovered that I'd read a book in an earlier series (and now I'll have to go and finish that one too!). I liked Nova and Owen, and the story was interesting.

    Owen Harding believes his wolf is damaged and mutated due to being kidnapped and experimented upon. This makes him believe he has become a monster and not the wolf he was before. Owen is working as a body guard for Nova Wilding who needs protection after her father is murdered. Nova does not want to go into hiding as she believes that will send the wrong message to her pack and the person who is threatening her. After her father’s death the males in Nova’s pack are pushing her to pick a mate to become the new alpha of her pack. Knowing that picking a wolf from another pack would split her pack and Owen’s belief that he is defective and cannot mate the two decide to act on their growing desire for each other believing that the relationship cannot last. The main contender from within Nova’s pack, Brad, starts to act like he is already in charge of her father’s company trying to overrule Nova’s decisions (like trying to take their computer games and take them onto console versions). When Brad presses the issue and threatens the company falling apart unless she submits to him she relents to save her pack. Brad then tries to use her submission to make her his mate but Nova realises that she only wants Owen, but when she is kidnapped and put on the internet for viewing of her torcher Owen will do anything to save her and take her for his mate. This is a fantastic book that kept me intrigued from the first page to the last.
