Children's books: Did You Say Poems? Joshua McManus: Children's poems, humorous children's poetry that's great for early readers! (Weird and Wonderful Poems Book 1) Kindle Edition
Young children will love the cautionary tales and fun to be had in each of them.
From making sure you don’t get your toilet brush and toothbrush mixed up, to being careful about sneezing when you are doing a wee, the poetry delves into some murky and taboo subjects with an abundance of skill, observation and quick-wittedness.
And with humorous and colorful pictures accompanying each poem, Did The Elephant Choose His Nose And Other Poems delivers exciting visual amusement too, and is sure to be a firm favourite with your child at bedtimes, or just whenever they need cheering up.

About the author

I’m Joshua McManus I live along side a great family…but I am an enthusiastic word shuffler. Moving them carefully side by side hoping they will resemble some sort of story…that you may manage to read from start to finish…enjoy possibly. If not, I’ll try again.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 September 2016I have read this book and each poem made me chuckle and remember what it's like to be a child again. This very basic but well thought out literature is perfect for young children to read, or something for parents to read to them. I accidentally ordered the kindle version but would love a hard copy to put on the shelf for many days and nights of happiness.
Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Did the Elephant Choose His Nose?
I think the title of this book should have been "Did the Elephant Pick his Nose?" Wait, there's already a poem about the infamous nose picker. This cute little book has plenty of bathroom humor and grossness to keep any child who enjoys that type of humor giggling and probably trying to re-enact some of the scenes. There are also a few non-gross ones about animals and eating and others. The goofy pictures will make you laugh or clutch your stomach in pain. It was a fun read.
