    The Blurb :
When Londoner Penny decides to visit her best friend Kate in New York for Christmas, the surprise appearance of a previous suitor sends her plans for a relaxing, carefree visit into complete disarray. When she and Mike last saw each other, the timing couldn't have been worse.
But when Mike decides to show Penny the very best of what a snowy, festive, New York has to offer at Christmastime - resolving to make it a trip to remember - will she be able to resist his charms this time round?

    My Thoughts :
I simply love New York, so any story set there especially at Christmas is going to be a winner with me. This cover is absolutely beautiful but very misleading as it is only a short story. This would of made a great full length book, and as its only a short story that kind of takes the whold edge off it. So much more could of been added into this and made longer. Having said that I did enjoy what I read, I mean its NYC!. Ideal if you have a spare hour or just wanted to curl up with a hot chocolate and have a festive read.

This was a nice little read and I got through it quickly but there were just too many spelling errors - one in the first paragraph. I wasnt paying too much attention but counted at least five, things like "he" instead of "her" which really throws me off of the momentum of reading.

I enjoyed the read, love New York so any story set there, especially at Christmas time is always going to be a winner with me, my only dissapointment was when I realised it was a short story, I must have missed this in the product description. Wanted it to carry on a little longer...

An ok read but nothing that hasn't been told before, easy to pick up and put down again, readable in an hour or so.

It was a very short story, but a feel good book. Defiantly worth reading if you have an hour spare

this is a short book and I enjoyed it like I have with all her other books... Guarneteed today make you smile however I felt this could have been a little longer and if so, it could have gotten more stars, it felt somewhat rushed to end the story and it missed the whole festivities of Xmas day which is what Christmas books are all about....
There's Emily whose single living in London has a crazy busy career and decides to go to Paris for one Christmas after her Nan dies and told her to live life to the full and she always wanted to go to Paris. So she goes and checks into her hotel finds time to explore and thinks she's seen an old friend.... Another day or so later she encounters him again and it's only her ex from many years ago, neither of them got over each other and distance and their want for different careers split them up.... Patrick lives and works in Paris and shows Emily everything you need to know about the city, where to eat, what to sightsee and when.... If they want to be together someone has to leave their career but is someone willing to do that? The whole story is based in these two and the run up to Xmas but it's ends days after Xmas but misses out Xmas day completelyfor this I'm giving it a low three stars...

Great book..just didn't last long enough. Easy to read.
Would recommend to other adult readers. Not very realistic setting; more like a soap opera.
