About the author

I'm a murderer, an intriguing woman, an enticing man, an evil child, a tarot card reader, a thug...and much more in my book world.
In real life, I’m a techie turned author of romance. I live in California and have the best husband in the world. Together, we travel, we read, we binge watch anything suspense, sci-fi, crime, or soccer, we eat ramen, drink red wine and devour chocolate truffles.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 July 2019Although I enjoyed reading this book.it focusses too much on sex to me that is only part of a love story,I really enjoy a good story and although the romance came together at the end the story didn't and carries on to the next book.So now if I want to see who is the culprit I will have purchase the next one .I like a start a middle and an ending in the same book
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 July 2019Eva has had to take over her father's business after his death and getting a notice that a contract is going to be terminated from one of their big customers means a visit to Stanford's offices. Clive is the handsome owner and after some discussion he agrees to hold off but wants a date. She knows he's a playboy but she can't resist. Clive wants her more than just a night but he is keeping some things from her. Eva also struggles with his ex taunting her. It's not good when she finds out he's kept things from her.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 September 2019So I finally got around to reading this book!
Eva and Clive’s chemistry is out of this world! I normally can’t get on with books written in 3rd person but it didn’t even phase me in this book.
Superb writing... onto the next one!

1.0 out of 5 stars Más de lo mismo

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice storyline
Clive and Eva are almost the perfect type of distant close lovers. The author has concocted a story which has a lot of romance but a bit of flavour of many other things. The cliffhanger, the suspense, the emotions and other things. This is definitely a read you need if you are looking for something spicy and lively.

5.0 out of 5 stars A full five stars for Chasing Eva. It's simply great!
Chasing Eva by Camellia Hart
This is a contemporary romance of the fun-to-read category. Very well written and the story is fantastic. It’s not the regular, “billionaire-guy-meets-girl” story.
Yes, the hero is rich, but he’s also incredibly wonderful. The heroine comes from money too, so they’re fairly evenly matched.
They knew each other as children and the hero has been carrying a torch for her. They meet up again when the heroine takes over her father’s business after his untimely death. Their companies have been doing business together so the hero and heroine are thrown into a situation that requires them to work together.
The romance is sweet and not too easy. The heroine makes him work for it. She has principles and reason to believe he’s a playboy. He proves to her that he truly wants her and that’s the setup for the wonderful romance.
The supporting cast of friends is great. I loved them and wonder if future books might showcase some of the supporting characters.
Throw in a mean ex-girlfriend, a moon-eyed former boyfriend interest, some corporate fraud, the glitz and glamour of the wealthy who’s who, a company in trouble and some intrigue including a possible murder and you’ve got a mix that will keep you turning pages about as fast as you can read them.
I was really pulling for the hero and heroine. They are a couple you can get behind.
This book is great, but not every mystery is resolved. I assume that will come in book 2 or 3. I am definitely getting the next book(s) because I love this couple and now I have to know how it turns out for them. Bottom line, you’ll feel good, but you’ll still be curious about a thing or two so I guess it’s an HFA (Happy For Now) that I feel will end in an HEA (Happy Ever After).
Hard to believe this story is written by a first time author. Kudos to you, Camelia Hart!
A full five stars from me! Enjoy!
