Will motherhood turn out to be everything that Clara ever dreamed of?

The cot has been bought, the nursery has been decorated and a name has been chosen. All that is missing is the baby himself…

With a lovely new home in the leafy, affluent village of Spring Oak, Clara and Oliver are ready to start this new chapter in their lives.

As Lianna is enjoying the success of her interior design firm, Periwinkle, Clara turns to the women of the village for company.

The once inseparable duo finds themselves at different points in their lives, and for the first time in Clara and Lianna’s friendship, the cracks start to show.

Will their friendship survive the rough patch?

Which naughty neighbour has a sizzling secret that she so desperately wants to keep hidden?

Laugh, smile and cry with Clara as she embarks on her journey to motherhood.

Meet baby Morgan, book 5 in the Clara Andrews series was a really good read. The birth of their baby actually bought a lump to my throat in some places. It's remarkable how a book can nudge memories of your own baby stories, that have laid dormant and bring them right to the forefront of your memory. Clara is lucky to have her parents and Oliver's parents on hand after the birth. What could be a very tense experience with her MIL has now mellowed and both allow each other the good grace to act and behave just the way they both want. Now in a new more family suitable home, Clara has to find her feet in this new village, making new friends along the way. Things are not always as they seem but it's great to see that Clara's gut feeling prevails in the end. What I loved about this book is a very short epilogue that sets us up nicely for book 6 in the series. A 5 star read.

Sometimes a favourite author can throw us a curveball and, for me, 'Meet Baby Morgan' came as quite a surprise (and such a rewarding one, at that). By this time, well into Lacey London's marvellous 'Clara' series, I had formed certain expectations of her accomplished writing and its wonderfully upbeat tone. But 'Meet Baby Morgan' introduced me to deeper, different and intriguing aspects of Clara's personality and, this time around, I found myself totally gripped by Clara's sensitivity and vulnerability as, chapter after chapter, she struggled with unforeseen challenges, doubts and insecurities. This story had me completely hooked in different ways and for different reasons. For me, this is not only extremely clever but also demonstrates the skilful and talented craft that's the driving force behind Lacey London's magnificent pen. Superb entertainment, delivered every single time.

Meet Baby Morgan , the 5th installment of the Clara series, does not dissapoint! We meet back up with Clara who is just about to give birth to Noah her beautiful much anticipated son. Life for Clara has changed slightly, a move to the country to the house of her dreams with Oliver her soul mate and a group of new friends that are not all that they seem! But Clara is still Clara, thank goodness! Lacey London has achieved what others struggle to do by successfully keeping us the reader still hooked after 5 books and I cannot wait for the next installment in the Clara series.

after reading the other books i find this very poor & disappointing
for me this just didn't have the same humour as the others.
hope the next book is better.

I cannot get enough of Clara and the gang. This was a great read, although I was surprised at where it started, I was expecting to read more about the pregnancy and how Clara and Oliver coped. Having saying that, it did not disappoint.

I was getting worried, especially when you move away become a mother and make new friendship this would have an effect on the Clara and Li's relationship.

What I loved most about this book us how it made me reminisce about my own pregnancies and how I changed, and more so how my life changed.

Another fantastic instalment to the Clara Andrews/Morgan series, congrats to Lacey London who has again managed to make the reader relate so well with Clara and the gang.

Looking forward to the next instalment.

I've loved the Clara Andrews series from the beginning. This has got to be the best part of Clara's journey so far for me. I won't go into the story as it would just spoil it for those reading the reviews but I can assure you, from Lacey's quick, witty writing, you won't be disappointed. I've already told Lacey to hurry up with the next part as I can't wait to get it on my Kindle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yet Another Hit!

This series just keeps getting better. This is a fast paced, fun read with lots of different threads. A move to the country, new friendships, trying to keep track of old friendships - oh and a new baby. My favourite thing about this series is that it's about life - ordinary, everyday, sometimes mundane and often chaotic life and it is never clear than in this story. Life isn't perfect - all the characters have their own issues and don't always handle them in the best manner. Our judgement can be clouded by the simplest of things and there are times when we don't see what should be obvious. Such problems make for an interesting tale and, I was hooked right 'til the end. A great read.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Clara Andrews books are good for a quick
Reviewed in the United States on 16 May 2016
The Clara Andrews books are good for a quick, light-hearted read, nothing too substantial but they are entertaining. I do look forward to the new ones coming out and the author does a good job keeping the reader engaged.

You can't help but love all the characters from Janie and whatever outrageous activities she has planned, Clara and her obsession with describing foods/wine, Oliver's overall good nature, and her friends both new and old. These stories show how sometimes real life is trivial and people are not always to be trusted, and that sometimes we jump to conclusions.

Most of the time I read these throughout the day and have them done in either 1-2 days.

It was a pleasant read. It was simple and I got a sense of the main character's situation and feelings. I enjoyed it. I am actually re-writing this review a couple years later and I am surprised that I actually remember a lot of the book. That says something to me about how memorable it was.

When life is hectic my therapy is turning on the bed warmer with a sweet book. Clara has become a new friend. Easy reading and just what is needed to fall into a relaxing sleep. I've read them in order so I'm watching Clara mature and learn necessary life lessons. I look forward to the next edition.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as other books she has written!

Her books are very much like Sophia Kinsela. This one was very similar but not as good as Sophia's baby book. It seems like there was not as much thought put into this one as the others.
