That same night a convict escapes his imprisonment on Portland Isle, Weymouth. Latest news is that my new book on Saturn is out now in the US. The kindle version is available in the UK now, but the paperback will take a bit longer to appear in bookshops because they ship them over. I'll let you know when it's in the UK, so keep an eye on this page.

This new book is a must-read for anyone interested in astrology, as in it I present a new way of interpreting Saturn. It completely changes the way we currently view it. But it's bigger than that. And that's all I will say for now, but astrologer shouldn't miss it because it won't be long before everyone interprets it this way as it is so revealing about our past lives and this life's purpose.

Secrets of Saturn is the second book in the series of my new way of interpreting birth charts, which I have called Spiritual Astrology. My first book, Secrets of Your Rising Sign is already out so have a look at that if you haven't already done so.

These two books are just the tip of a very large iceberg. I have been asked to write a whole series, a book on each of the planets and what they mean in relation to our life path, and our cosmic purpose. Secrets of Mercury is now with the publishers, but that will be out next year. The following one will be on Venus and Mars- and that's my job for this autumn/winter!

My other astrology books;

Birth Chart Interpretation, Plain and Simple

Know Your baby, An Astrological Interpretation of Your Baby's Chart

What's Your Big Three? How the Sun, Moon and Rising Signs reveal who you really are.

Star Sign Love

Fiction:

Mrs. Darling's Daughters

Within a few pages I was totally hooked an absolute delight to read.
A very emotional and moving love story unfolds involving the two main characters Roger De Amerley and Lady Caroline James. Noting that this one of a Trilogy I am keen to read the final parts.
An extra plus for me is that the book is initially set in the County of Dorset.

A compelling and very well written book. The story was fast paced enough to make it a page turner without losing the description and thoughtful character descriptions. Looking forward to reading the next 2 books in trilogy. Very good quality and length of book for the price.

Caroline escapes the confinement of an enforced marriage to the depraved Sir Gregory to find love with the dashing Roger de Amerley. Andrea Taylor's writing is full of confidence and sexual tension. We find ourselves rapidly drawn into this tale of passion and intrigue. A real page-turner, which will have all those historical romance aficionados clamoring for more, the beauty being that we have a whole trilogy to feast upon!

In 1848, Caroline is fifteen and forced to accept Sir Gregory Preston's marriage proposal - despite him being in his forties, fat, ugly and creepy. Her father has lost the family fortune and Preston is rich - he is their only hope to avoid penury and Caroline has no choice but to go along with their plans - or so they think.

Accepting his proposal gives the family two years' grace - while they are engaged, Sir Gregory will pay the bills. Caroline has a plan to avoid her fate, but this is thwarted when Sir Gregory turns up to collect Caroline two months ahead of time.
She makes a desperate dash for freedom, but is knocked off her horse by Roger de Amerley, who is making his own desperate dash for freedom - from the prison at Portland Isle. Scared that she would be killed if he left her unconscious on the road,
he hoists her over his horse's withers and rides off into the night.

He has taken on more than he knows, however, in the feisty Caroline. Once she recovers, she refuses to go home and follows him to his ancestral home, de Amerley Hall, where she wins a job as a seamstress and tries to help him clear his name, keep him from the hangman's noose, and avoid Sir Gregory Preston and all who are looking for her - and falls in love along the way.

The de Amerley Affair is extremely well-written historical fiction: well-paced, exciting and full of intrigue and sexual tension between characters that it is impossible not to feel for.
There are some great twists along the way (no, no spoilers!) and Andrea Taylor sweeps her readers along with her story - and keeps us guessing until the very end. Brilliant!

I very much enjoyed The de Amerley Affair, and Caroline and Roger's story stayed with me long after I finished the book. I am very much looking forward to the next books in the trilogy: Ailsa and Lost Brothers.

This is a fast paced romantic suspense that is set in the regency period.
There are many of the stereotypical scenarios of the genre but in a fresh and lighthearted manner. Caroline and Roger are over the top characters. They both have an evil stepmother who is responsible for the difficulties they are facing.
The household staff are well described with their propensity to gossip and look out for each other. Unusually for this genre. Roger is actually married but lies to Caroline about it. She is the eternal optimist-always seeing the brights side of any situation. She is also quick to come up with a plan of action. No matter how dire their circumstances, there is still humour and hope.

I loved this book! Great characters and plot! Loved the ending but I wish there could have been an Epilogue. Not that you are left hanging at all! I do understand however that this is a trilogy so I am looking for the other two!
