Scalping is Fun! 1: Part 1: Fast Trading with Heikin Ashi (Heikin Ashi Scalping) Kindle Edition

Scalping is Fun! Part 1

Fast Trading with the Heikin Ashi chart

Scalping is the fastest way to make money in the stock market. There are no other methods that can increase the capital of a trader more effectively. To explain how this is so, the Germany based Heikin Ashi Trader tells all in this e-book, the first of a four-part series on scalping.

His method is very easy to understand and can be applied immediately because it is universal and works in all markets. To scalp, the Heikin Ashi Trader uses heikin ashi charts, which are a type of ancient Japanese chart that vividly depict the course of stock market prices. Heikin Ashi charts have the ability to visualize trends more clearly than the usual candlestick charts. In addition, they also show consolidation and reversal patterns earlier than any other chart representation.

This highly effective scalping strategy can be applied in very short time frame, as in the 1-minute chart as well as on higher time frames. You can trade with this universal method in equity indices and in the currency markets, but the most common instruments are futures or forex pairs.

Content:

1. Welcome to scalping. It’s fun!
2. How do markets function?
3. What is trading?
4. What is scalping?
5. The Heikin Ashi chart
6. The scalping setup
7. Risk and Money Management
8. Make a decision!

Fantastic book. I read all the scalping is fun books. I have been trading forex for around a year with moderate success with longer term trades. When I have a day off work though I like to be making a lot of trades throughout the day. I tried the author's scalping method after reading book 1 last week, and made a 0.36% return on my account. This was despite using it for the first time and getting to know it, as well as making a few mistakes in terms of taking profit too soon, and exiting later than I should have. I then read the next three books which go deeper, and am looking forward to trading it again on my next day off.

These books are small in page count, but they contain a wealth of trading knowledge, both in terms of mechanics and trader psychology. I am also impressed with the fact that although English is not the author's first language, after getting used to how he writes, I understood exactly what he was saying. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, and the other's in the 'Scalping is Fun' series. Thank you Heiken Ashi Trader.

All the content here can easily be sourced from internet. The strategy mentioned is simply a headline. Better invest in better books.

Really nice Ebook for whoever want to discover Scalping. Easy to read and understand for beginners but also a refresher for the more advanced traders. Really good intro for the part 2, 3 and 4 which will get you deeper into the details of scalping. I just wish I had discovered this series of books earlier. And for the price it is sold, you don't risk much do you ?

It is the first part in a series of books, and as such will give you an idea if you actually want to continue buying the rest of the series.

This "book" can be read in 30 minutes but, if you already know something about markets, you can skip to Chapter 5. The author explains very clearly what "scalping" is and also how to use a Heikin-Ashi chart to set up a scalping system. He does not mention anything about spread betting or margins and you will need to understand these if you are to take scalping any further. I confirm that scalping is fun!
So if you just want to find out what scalping is then this book is for you. The author probably finds writing books like this more lucrative than trading.

I was expecting more information which is very minimum in my opinion. Way to much writing outside the subject, me personally, I'm disappointed.

Really interesting and useful with a very simple strategy for scalping. I swing trade daily candles and wanted a daytrade system to balance out my trades. As always with trading you really have to know yourself before pulling the trigger. Read all the books in series and if you are a new trader I'd say work out the total number of losses in one day to be less than 1% of your account and divide that by the number of trades to work out your leverage. So daily loss is no greater than 1% and build from there. Buy these books and good luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars After reading Scalping is Fun Books 1 - 4
Reviewed in the United States on 28 January 2016
I have read all the books that the Hiekin Ashi Trader has written. I am hoping he will translate the book entitled in Dutch I think Swing Trading with the 4 Hour Chart.

After reading Scalping is Fun Books 1 - 4, I had a breakthrough. The way the author describes what it means to swing trade, moving from over analyzing to flow, keeping appropriate records so not only do you know your win/loss ratio, but also expectation, size of loss, etc. somehow got into me in a deeper way than anything else I have read, and honestly I have probably read over 100 books from Amazon that deal with trading. And for the first time I started making consistent profit. And just so you know, I do not know the Heiken Ashei Trader, nor was I asked or paid to do a review. I highly recommend these books, they are both the most practical, and at the same time the most impactful when it comes to changing how you see the market and how you must see yourself if you are going to be a successful scalper. Also know that I seldom if ever write a review, because most of what I have read regarding trading is redundant or not helpful. So this review is unusual. I wish there was someway to contact the author. I hope the author translates into English Swing Trading on the 4 Hour Chart, which I believe is in German and or Dutch.

2.0 out of 5 stars La Velas Heikin - Ashi por sí solas son insuficientes
Reviewed in Mexico on 4 April 2019
La velas H-A son útiles porque quitan el ruido, sin embargo, es necesario acompañarlas de indicadores por sí solas ocasionarían muchas pérdidas. Además no sugiere un time frame para ser efectivo.

Went on a traders course, nowhere did they indicate this form of aggressive trading. I still have a long way to go but it appears this is NOT for the faint hearted or easily distracted person. I have yet to learn if I fall into either of these types. Hopefully not.

5.0 out of 5 stars Written beautifully explaining the mindset required for day trading.

It's written in very simple terms but explains so much that might take someone years to understand.
I have been trying to trade and understand more about how to stay even during losses or what changes are required if you are in losses etc. And this book.. In the shortest and simplest way explained all of that very clearly and helped me get a mindset to trade without giving up.
