    This is a very timely book - for me anyway - but I'm sure it would be welcomed by many women who are in the same situation. Instead of wracking my brain trying to figure out what kind of food might be helpful, I can open this recipe book almost at random and come up with a delicious and really easy to make recipe. I have tried a few of the salads which are varied and tasty. My particular favorites are the breakfast ideas, which are quite inspiring. Also, the healthy muffins, for example the Avocado and Banana Muffin, are quick and easy, and can even take them with me to work in the morning.

    A reasonable diet book, easily added to the family meal choices without any complaints, well so far, yes, I am trimmer but for me not so much help with the flushes and other symptoms but worth trying it may work for you.

    Disappointed. Like other reviews stated the book has meat recipes no good for vegetarian and vegans. No photographs inside the book. What a cheek to charge £10+

    The recipes were easy to follow - although I've only tried a few if them so far. Looking forward to working through the book and seeing if the diet improves my symptoms.

    Good ideas to improve your nutrition. However I gained weight just reading it. Needs a calorie and saturated fat count on those recipes.

    The recipes in this book are healthy and sound very good. I will be sure to try quite a few of them. The book is not perfect in that there are no photos, occasional typo or grammatical errors, and the table of contents is only interactive for the recipe category. Not a problem - I just highlight the recipes that interest me and voila - I have created my own table of contents. There are a lot of great sounding recipes, and that's what really counts. Categories are salad, soup, main dish, and breakfast and dessert. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to cook healthy, not just midlifers.

    Typically "diet" books have recipes that are either unappealing or things you already know how to make. This one has some really tasty recipes that aren't typical but very tasty. I really recommend it, menopausal or not
