4.3 out of 5 stars 3,131 ratings

In the thrilling, pulse-pounding conclusion to Kass Morgan's New York Times bestselling The 100 series, the Hundred face their greatest challenge yet. Because...

Humanity is coming home.

Weeks after landing on Earth, the Hundred have managed to create a sense of order amidst their wild, chaotic surroundings. But their delicate balance comes crashing down with the arrival of new dropships from space.

These new arrivals are the lucky ones - back on the Colony, the oxygen is almost gone -
but after making it safely to Earth, GLASS's luck seems to be running out. CLARKE leads a rescue party to the crash site, ready to treat the wounded, but she can't stop thinking about her parents who may still be alive. Meanwhile, WELLS struggles to maintain his authority despite the presence of the Vice Chancellor and his armed guards, and BELLAMY must decide whether to face or flee the crimes he thought he'd left behind.

It's time for the Hundred to come together and fight for the freedom they've found on Earth, or risk losing everything - and everyone - they love.

Good book to read over all.

As before, this book picks up where the last one left off and I started it straight away after finishing the last one.

Homecoming begins with the remaining drop ships having crash landed and was quite enjoyable and very easy to read. I read it very quickly but, despite that, it’s not an amazing book.

As before there is plenty of action and drama after the Vice Chancellor lands on earth with the others and starts flexing his authority. The first 100 to land on earth have got their own hierarchy and they don’t take lightly to the Vice Chancellor and his guards with guns.

Like other reviewers, I was quite pleased that all the boyfriend/girlfriend swapping from the first couple of books seemed to have finished and everyone had settled down, I was also in serious danger of losing track of who was with who.

A few characters die in this book, that’s not a spoiler - there has always been death - but there is quite a bit more in this book. I wasn’t upset by any of the characters deaths and I guess this is because I wasn’t really attached to them.

I think that this book felt a bit more rushed than the others and the ending is a bit too perfect and predictable for me but overall I enjoyed reading Homecoming. I don't feel like I have wasted my time reading all the books so far and I picked up the 4th one as soon as I finished this one.

I would recommend this book to teenagers especially.
I literally cannot get over this book.
Make sure you read the first two before, otherwise it could be v. confusing.
Look out for the cliffhanger at the end though!!!!! :(
    I love Kass Morgan. <3

I liked the tv program so if your looking for a book based very close to that then don’t buy this as I think there are only about two things the same in it ie 100 kids are sent to earth and three of the same characters are in it but that’s about the only similarity. However if you have not seen the tv program but like futuristic adventure type books then this is a great read although it’s not that long a book but I did end up buying all 4 books and enjoyed them as a whole story. I would read them again.

It was simply an ending to the series. I wanted to know what happened to the characters, and I found out, basically. The story wasn't exactly exciting, it simply tidied up the original story. It wasn't bad though. It's a better read than many, many other books out there. Although not as exciting as the original book, Kass Morgan can write, and can form proper sentences and thoughts, without needing to rely on swearing, etc. - I'm very impressed! Whilst not as good as book one, it's worth a read!

No hay duda de que es muy fácil leer a la autora y aunque dentro de su escritura repite algunas líneas constantemente, la acción dentro de las páginas del libro es bastante atractiva y te mantiene atento a los sucesos inminentes.
