- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 April 2024So I have been dealing with this issue in my marriage and I wish I had read this 7 years earlier. I am a Christian and I was praying about this topic as I genuinely was fed up with this cycle of jealousy I was browsing the books and I believe God bought me to this book. This book is just what I needed I truly thank God for the author writing it. I know people criticize her writing style but personally for me it is the best it really drives to home how toxic jealousy can be even though sometimes the offender is unaware of it. Its negative conditioning. Such a good book for a small price! Thank you Sofia 5 stars!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2015People tend to have jealousy issues due to past experiences or upbringing beliefs that has been set in them from early ages or can be due to low self esteem and lack of confidence, this causes them to become jealous of others or become blinded by jealousy and spend their time sabotaging things without knowing it. They aren’t aware that jealousy comes into play but this book covers exactly why your jealousy requires your attention and where it comes from so that you can learn from it. If you can’t appreciate with what you have and what you got and accept it then you will become jealous of others. This book helps you learn from jealousy and how to eliminate it before it becomes a problem, I would recommend this book if you want to learn how to overcome jealousy, insecurity and trust issues.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 June 2021Good book, but brutal at time placing the responsibility entirely on the damaged soul. I would have liked more content on having healthy boundaries set and respected rather than being encouraged to turn a blind eye all of the time
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 May 2017Some good advice but don't read if you suffer from low self-esteem as the authors points can be rather blunt and patronising and would make some people feel even worse about their jealousy issue rather than the intent of 'shaking' them out of it!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2015This book is a fantastic read especially as I've only just realised how bad jealousy has been affecting my life. For me it's more of a user manual rather than just something to read once as my jealousy issues are not going to stop over night. The author really understands the root of the problem and I completely respect the direct approach of making you look at you behaviour and accepting responsibility for it. The advice has already helped me considerably so much so that even my husband has been happy with the lack of problems I've been causing as a result of jealousy. I highly recommend this book in particular to anyone who has that little feeling at the back of their mind that the frequent arguing in their relationship is caused by their jealous feelings. The book will help open your eyes more to the damage jealousy causes to any relationship and helps you move forward to overcome these feelings.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 May 2017I think everyone should read this book, whether they are affected by jealousy in some way or not. I've never really thought about jealousy before, at least not as a serious and dangerous living breathing thing. This book paints a picture of the effects of jealousy, and keeps adding layer upon layer until the message gets through.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 December 2015This book has is a bit threatening, sort your jealousy out or else!
"Men will always look at boobs" just get over it and have a laugh... This shows no deep understanding of the problem of sexual jealousy ... So men can do what they want.. Women just deal with it.
Great.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2015This book is extremely good, and helped me understand how I can move on from jealousy in my relationship and understand not everything that is said or happens has an ulterior motive.

2.0 out of 5 stars Waste of time
250 pages of “water” that could fit into a couple of sentences: jealousy is ugly, it is going to ruin your relationship. It comes from insecurities, so fix yourself, learn self-value and and self-confidence.
The book has no structure, jumping from on point to another but then repeating the same things over and over again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hands down, the best advice I've seen for conquering jealousy!!
Having struggled my whole life with jealousy -- and having ruined an important romantic relationship through my jealousy-fueled behaviors -- I have been seeking help in ridding my life of jealousy before it's too late. Sofia Price's book has changed my life. Instead of dwelling overlong on the underlying issues that have led me to become the jealous person I have always been (though she does cover those amply enough), Price cuts to the chase and basically told me just what I needed to be told: Grow up, already! In her very readable book, she offers excellent real-life examples and concrete steps I can take to put jealousy behind me. I felt the weight lifting from my shoulders as I read! I particularly liked her suggestions that 1. I finally take time to be alone, for the first time in my adult life, and really get to know myself and what I want, not just in a relationship but also in life in general, before seeking a new partner and 2. I volunteer for an organization that needs my help, as a way to get me out of my own tangled head and gain new perspective on life. I now carry the book around with me everywhere I go in case I need reminders or need to shore up my resolve. Thank you, Sofia! You should get this book of yours published by a mainstream press so more people can benefit from it! I can't recommend it highly enough.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ripetizioni
Ci sono alcuni concetto validi, che però vengono ripetute continuamente. Mi sarei aspettata più analisi e concetti esplorati più appropriamente. I concetti di base senz'altro validi

2.0 out of 5 stars Repetitive, depressing but some good points
It's fairly brutal. Don't read if you struggle with low self esteem as she very much points the finger, and in quite a harsh way, making you feel almost scolded at times like a really naughty kid in time out. 'Jealousy' theword is so repetitive it's painful to read at times
