Holly lives in a little white cottage by the sea. She studied media at university which led to a very glitzy career as a hotel receptionist followed by a even more glamorous two years working in a bank. The moment that one of her colleagues received the much coveted carriage clock for fifteen years’ service was the moment when she knew she had to escape. She quit her job and returned to university to train to be a teacher. Three years later, she emerged wide eyed and terrified that she now had responsibility for the development of thirty young minds. She taught for four years and then escaped the classroom to teach history workshops, dressing up as a Viking one day and an Egyptian High Priestess the next. But the long journeys around the UK and many hours sat on the M25 gave her a lot of time to plan out her stories and she now writes full time, doing what she loves.

Holly has been writing for 8 years. She was shortlisted for the New Talent Award at the Festival of Romance. Her short story won the Sunlounger competition and was published in the Sunlounger anthology. She won the Carina Valentine’s competition at the Festival of Romance with her novel The Guestbook. A quick buddy read with Mel from Melanie's Reads to start the year we both loved book one and this follows straight after so they're best read in order. This is a short novella at just over 100 pages, perfect for Christmas as it's solely focusing on Christmas proposals. Main characters and couple Harry and Suzie get a beautiful ending and a new beginning in this story. An easy, fast and festive read. Brilliant. A well deserved four out of five stars. Highly recommend.

    Snow kissed London.
    A beautiful novella
Harry and Suzie and after the marriage proposal all she wants is to be Mrs Forbes but it seems Harry is in no rush to tie the knot.
Both running there own proposal business it is going from strength to strength.
I loved this little read a magical festive read.

I read this without having read the earlier book in the series and although it was obvious that I was missing some of the background detail, I didn't feel that I had missed out too much.

This was a light read and it was quite obvious from the beginning where the story was going to go. Very sweet, a bit predictable but a nice easy Christmas read.

I loved coming back to the story of Harry and Suzie! They managed to steal a piece of my heart and wedge themselves in there forever!
We are coming back to the story where they are now engaged for a couple of months (I re-read One Hundred Proposals again just to read about his proposal) and Suzie is ready to tie the knot!

But ofcourse their business the.perfectproposal.com has given themselves the challenge to do 100 proposals in December! Very ambitious but very doable as every proposal gets chocolates, champagne and flowers (heck even I wanted to recreate a proposal to my now husband for free champagne hehe).

Suzie is in charge of arranging the last proposal on New Years Eve in London and is very excited she’s getting free reign in it so she basically creates something she would really love!

I absolutely loved Harry’s devotion to Suzie and Suzie’s almost impatience with getting married! Loved reading about their best friends as well.

This is a perfect Christmas read and a perfect novella for One Hundred Proposals. I could only describe it as you had an amazing fantastic main course in one of your favourite restaurants (One Hundred Proposals) and you end the night with the best dessert ever (One Hundred Christmas Proposals) to compliment eachother!

I would recommend reading One Hundred Proposals first – just to get you an idea how they got where they are right now in life.

Well I loved One Hundred Proposals so when I found out that Holly Martin was writing a Christmas sequel, I was beyond excited! And guess what... she did not disappoint! I devoured this book in an hour because it was so amazing. It was wonderful to be with cute, crazy Suzie and hot, sweet Harry and to see how things have progressed for them over the past six months. They are just the perfect couple and it was fabulous to read about them again.
I giggled, I cried, I gasped and I swooned my way through this story and I enjoyed it so much that I might just go and read it all over again for the sheer enjoyment of it!
Thanks to the gorgeous Holly for writing this fabulous Christmas read!
I would LOVE to meet Harry and Suzie again next year... HINT...HINT... XXX

**Review originally posted on my blog**

I extremely enjoyed reading One Hundred Proposals that I expected this book would also have the same effect on me. But since Harry had already proposed to Suzie, what’s in store for them now? This sequel had brought a mixture of sadness and excitement to me. Sad because it’s shorter since it’s a novella, but also excited because Harry and Suzie’s love story continues on! Moreover, it’s Christmas-themed! I just wished I had read this sooner as it might have just livened up my Christmas spirit more.

It was seen here that the PR stunt Harry pulled off was a huge success. As such, they pursued another batch of one hundred proposals set during the Christmas season. The only thing different here was instead of focusing the proposals on Harry and Suzie, it was now the clients’ turn to get the limelight. This different approach done by Holly Martin made the book even more interesting to read. I love how Harry recounted their clients’ proposals through his blog. This allowed readers to get a glimpse of the couples’ love story and how each proposal incorporated one memory or significant object that was meaningful to their relationship. I must say, the proposals were diverse, unique, and memorable. It was also fun to read the reactions of the ladies.

But of course, Holly Martin still centered her story on Harry and Suzie’s relationship. After the proposal in the previous book, Suzie prepared herself for a transition to the next chapter of her life, that is, marriage. I admired how Harry and Suzie’s chemistry remained strong and intact. Likewise, Harry would go extra miles to prove how much he extremely loved Suzie. It was so sweet and definitely swoon-worthy to the point of me hoping someone like Harry would exist in reality and be my guy!

Overall, One Hundred Christmas Proposals did not disappoint. It was a bit predictable, but this did not stop me from enjoying the book. Despite just being a novella, One Hundred Christmas Proposals was a great and satisfying follow-up to One Hundred Proposals. Holly Martin wrote another wonderful, romantic story that will make readers fall in love with love again. Aside from it being a love story, this book also became a significant life-changing moment to Suzie. She definitely grew and matured as a person, as she was able to improve and strengthen her relationship not just with Harry, but with her family and friends. And best of all, I believed the 100th Christmas proposal deserved its position as the priceless closing scene of the book. Holly Martin surely knows how to make an emotional ending that will leave readers craving for more. Nuff said.
