Chase Baker and the Golden Condor: A Gripping Chase Baker Romantic Suspense Thriller Kindle Edition
"Can Chase survive the unrelenting jungle?"
Seeking a much needed payoff, Chase Baker stumbles into the opportunity of a lifetime: to use his treasure hunting skills to seek out an aircraft hidden deep in a remote part of the Amazon Jungle. But the aircraft in question isn’t any old airplane. Legend claims it’s an ancient flying machine called the Golden Condor—an intergalactic spaceship delivered to the Incas by aliens more than a thousand years ago.
There’s a catch, of course. Hostile tribal natives, in collaboration with a band of Tupac Amaru revolutionary terrorists, will stop at nothing to murder Chase, his team of explorers, and his beautiful literary agent, before they reach the Condor. And if the terrorists don’t kill them, then the writhing, creeping jungle almost certainly will. But in typical Chase Baker style, once he sets his sights on the prize, nothing will stand in his way.
They are embarking on a mission that, if it succeeds, will change the way historians view the ancient Inca civilization—and alter society's beliefs about early man and the heavens above.
Readers of Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, Wilbur Smith, and JR Rain, will find Chase Baker's adventures “well worth every minute,” according to SUSPENSE MAGAZINE. Join Chase on his hunt though the heart of darkness today! Be sure to also read THE SHROUD KEY (A Chase Baker Thriller):

What the critics are saying: "If you put Zandri and Dan Brown in a dark Cairo back alley, I'd put money on Zandri. He went to Cairo in the middle of the Arab Spring (against the explicit wishes of the U.S. State Department), gathered materials for the book while Tahrir Square rioted ... The Shroud Key is page-turning fun for popcorn munchers." --Ben Sobieck, CrimeFictionBook Blog
"Zandri has brought back that wonderful ‘quest’ story ... THE SHROUD KEY is well worth every minute." --SUSPENSE MAGAZINE

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2023I have all Vincent's books and love them all especially "The Chase Baker"books. Please write more Chase books they are funny and clever and believable
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2015perfect for holiday read - fast moving did not want to put it down. Quite light to read but as I said perfect for a holiday read
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 May 2020Fair book, some major issues with the way it glosses over parts of the plot, but the ending was really weak, nowhere near the polish of the first book. Almost as if the author had run out of ideas and took the easy way out
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 December 2019After reading the first Chase Baker story I was really looking forward to this one! Although this is completely different it is still great fun and is quite thought provoking in context. The idea that higher intelligent beings were on earth thousands of years ago isn't a new concept but this was a slightly different take and thoroughly believable in the overall context of years of earth history.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2015Good follow up. Possibly could have been a bit longer. 1or2 ideas not fully explained or followed up.
Good read though
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 May 2015Easy read good adventure
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2016This has to be the clunkiest most cliché ridden explorer tosh I have ever read. It is loosely assembled from parts of its predecessors ( Indiana Jones et al). It has all the ingredients, jungle, hostile natives, revolutionaries, tarantulas, enormous snakes, beautiful sexy female, guns, immortal old men who have stumbled into a world where aliens and the Incas met. Cringe making errors , the manic baddie has an office in a world war two B52 with its four great propellers, whereas Mr Wiki tells me the B52 first flew in 1952 powered by eight jet engines. The plot is nonsense and I am sitting here wondering why I read it to its inevitable end, hence the two stars where probably one would be more appropiate
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2015A reallygood read ,I read this book in one go.a few silly bits, but still a very entertaining book, well written, thanks.regards Daniel

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Plot
Chase Baker and Golden Condor..book.3.......Vincent.Zandri
...narrator .Andrew.B.Wherlen
Chase Baker and his team are off to the jungles to find an Inca ancient golden flying machine. The son, it was his father not finding it 40 years ago, that was funding the project. Suspense, adventure as they encounter rebels, and a sci-fi legend. Narration by Wherlen was good, clear and added greatly to the story. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

2.0 out of 5 stars Gut lesbar, aber schlechter Inhalt
Schade.

1.0 out of 5 stars It passed the time
A pulpy adventure novel. Not the most amazing writing, nor the most compelling hero.

4.0 out of 5 stars fun , fantasy and mystery
What a fun book , it like being on the treasure hunt while sitting in your home. Granted the theory is a little far fetched , sort of fantasy and mystery together but a quick and enjoyable read.
