Four Seasons Of Fire And Ice: A journey of self discovery Kindle Edition
If you have ever asked yourself the existential questions: Is there meaning and purpose to our existence? Is there a continuity of consciousness after 'death'? If so, what came before and what comes after? What does the future hold in store? And can we co-create our own future? this book may not provide all the answers, but it will take you a step closer to a deeper understanding of the mysteries of 'life'. Walk alongside Toni for a furlong as she struggles with life's challenges. Her experiences may resonate with your trials as you venture on your own journey of self-discovery, and her insights will be salve and solace on that 'road less travelled'.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2014I am so glad I purchased this book, the sample chapter compelled me to read more and I must say, it's definitely worth the money. I am never normally a quick reader but i had trouble putting this book down, so much of this book resonated with me.
The book gives you a subjective interpretation of what is wrong with contemporary society by threading together several schools of thought that shaped a year of the writer's life. Eloquently written, this book will prod and poke your conscience and make you question what it's all about and where are we all going in this ever changing world. The writing is fluid, expressive and a pleasure to read and whether you accept or refute the subjectivity of the writer, it will certainly make you address and question many aspects of yourself and your existence.
Thanks for a great read.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 July 2014This inspiring book hooked me immediately and kept me entertained to its end.
With a beautiful mastery of language, the author takes you on a journey through a challenging year of her life. Although a sad tale in many respects there is hope at every turn. It's helped along by a good dose of humour too.
In a world where we are increasingly encouraged to look after number one, this is a timely reminder that the bigger picture is ultimately more important. Both enlightening and uplifting this book has the potential to be life-changing for some.
A very enjoyable read.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 June 2016Wow! I couldn't put this down.....Toni leads us by the hand through a year of her life with all the emotion, drama and upsets we all face time to time. Woven throughout by interesting concepts of what is life all about, well written, easy to read and even bringing humour to the table when all seemed lost.
I just wanted to hug her and say " I've been there, I've felt that!!"
Highly recommended, a must have!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 July 2014Four Seasons of Fire and Ice is an engaging read, intelligently written.
The author interprets the events of one year of her life through cogently expressed psychological and spiritual concepts pertinent to us all.
A compelling and captivating yarn.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2015Deeply impressive, continually moving, a meditation on the horrors of life but full of beauty and empathy. Elegant and poetic, full of human spirit, I loved this book. I recommend it to everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating
Fascinating. at times I was unsure whether the author's narrative was a true story or a cleverly crafted, creative piece of work, but, either way,it is a fascinating book. I have read many personal growth and spiritual books but this one is a refreshingly original read. The way in which the past-life story line so concisely illustrated many spiritual concepts enabled me to easily digest the often complex ideas explored in the book. Many issues that, one way or another, will affect us all at some point our lives are touched upon and even if the authors view may not entirely align with our own, they are certainly thought-provoking. An enjoyable read.
