Queen of The Hill (Knight Games Book 3) Kindle Edition
I’m Grateful Knight, Monk’s Hill witch and slayer of all things evil. I used to fear commitment, but after snatching Rick from the brink of death, I’m ready for us to finally have our happily ever after. Our date is set, and the wedding plans are in the works… until the witch responsible for the candle that almost ended Rick’s life shows up in Red Grove. She’s owed a debt, and the price is more than we can bear.
To make matters worse, Logan is barely speaking to me, and a murder at the Thames Theater leaves everyone reeling over the future of Julius's vampire coven. I’m finally ready to walk down the aisle, but to get there, I’ll have to face greatest challenge of my life.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 October 2014Wow I loved it! This series has just continued being brilliant, each book as good as the last. This one was quite pivotal as a lot happened and it was important in Grateful's life and for her future. One part made me shed a tear - I don't want to say too much but there is a bit of a rollercoaster in this book. I can't wait to find out what happens next!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 August 2014I didn't find myself quite as involved emotionally with this book as with the others and yet the series is becoming more and more intriguing to me. A total shocker at the end, poor poor Rick. I won't do this book the disservice of comparing it to others as it is completely unique and that is one of the things I love most about it. I loved Poe getting his own door, so funny when he doesn't use it in order to wake Grateful. I hope that we see a bit more relationship development in the next book thanks to the rather big twist at the end.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 July 2014It seemed like an age while I waited for this book in eager anticipation (it was in fact a few months) and it didn't disappoint. I love the characters, I love how the plot twists and turns, it's unputdownable, and you get the feeling that there is so much more to come. Can't wait for the next book of the series so come on Genevieve, get writing, I'm desperate to know what's next!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 August 2014I don't often write reviews, this series deserves one. I have enjoyed all 3 books written to date and eagerly await the fourth. They are well written supernatural adventures with unexpected twists and turns. The characters are believable and I find myself unable to stop reading ! I highly recommend this series and hope the author can continue it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 July 2014This set of book s is a total fantasy dream for its readers equally as good or even better than TRUE BLOOD OR TWILIGHT saga !!! I would love to see more books on these lines and hope we may get films or programmes to follow allowing others to be delighted in such fantasy tales !!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 July 2014Good story with plenty of twists to it, but I wish that Rick was a bit less of a lap dog. He never seems to come into his own somehow. Hopefully in the next book when he regains his memory we will see more of what he is made of. I have a feeling that Julius and Gary will have a bigger part to play next time and look forward to the next instalment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reading fit for a queen
This series just keeps getting better and better. Author Genevieve Jack had me hooked with the first two books in the series (Ghost in the Graveyard and Kick the Candle) but she really seems to be hitting her stride with Queen of the Hill. Characters are richer and even more well-rounded, the action is more intense and the plotting is full of surprises. I burned through this novel in an afternoon, in a fever of "can't-wait-to-see-what-happens-next." I don't think I've ever said this about any other series, but I can't wait to see what happens next. And also? This would make a phenomenal movie, Hollywood. Grateful Knight is a character who will sell a lot of popcorn.
Highly recommend this novel and the entire series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quickly Becoming One of my Favorite New Authors
I think Genevieve Jack is one of my new favorite writers. These books are really really good. Its been a while since I was able to enjoy a good fantasy series, but she really has me hooked. I love these books. The story lines move really well, and the development of the characters is really well done. Her writing is also pretty good, I'm impressed. I can't wait for more and to see how the series progresses. She really knows how to develop her characters, and they have complexity to them. They're not one dimensional and focused on making simple choices, there are twists and turns, and plenty of things to keep it interesting. I cannot wait to see what unfolds in the next book, I think it'll be just a good as the previous three.
Book three is excellent, and very well done. It kept me hooked and I honestly couldn't put it down. I love the character development. I love that things don't go to plan all the time, and that the main character makes mistakes. Grateful certainly comes into her own in this book. It impressed me. I hope Jack continues to develop her characters like this and keep it interesting. I think by the third book readers will be hooked and pleasantly surprised by the turn of events.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enthralling Read!!
Firstly, I would like to mention that you need to have read books 1 and 2 in the Knight Games series to be able to follow this story, as it's the continuation of Grateful's journey as the Monks Hill Witch. Here are my thoughts on Queen of the Hill:
My likes:
* Grateful is one tough woman! She is a lot stronger mentally and physically than she thinks, and her confidence in her magical abilities grows with every supernatural encounter. I'm enjoying seeing this character develop in this way over the course of her journey since becoming the witch.
* Rick, her immortal caretaker is always there for her and is a wealth of knowledge to help guide her in this lifetime.
* There is one fantastic nemesis in this story. Her name is Tabitha who is a witch from Salem. She's vile and a man-eater. I love to hate this witch!
* This story is well written and moves at a great pace too. The imagination of the author is fantastic and it's so hard to try and guess what she will think up next.
My dislikes:
* Another great story but this one felt as thought something was missing. The only thing I can think of, is that there was a little less action in this than the last book and we see more of the aftermath instead.
Romance:
We are gifted some steamy love scenes along with some tender and heart breaking moments.
Cliffhanger:
There is an interesting twist at the end, and it will certainly make for an exciting start to book 4.
Overall, we're given another enthralling read from this series. If you love paranormal then I think you may just enjoy this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love unending
Book three is full of love and loyalty, action with a full on witch fight. What will Greatfull's next move be with Rick not having a memo try of Greatful and their love. This is a great series, I have not been able to put it down.
