Great item, excellent value and good quality.

I love Melody Grace’s style of writing, she makes you fall for each couple and the idea of falling in love in general.

I really liked the start of Dex and Alicia’s story in the prequel Unrequited, and this book just followed on with the greatness.

Dex is sex on a stick, bad boy, rocker with a knack for dirty talk and I loved him right from the start, he a sensitive guy that’s been really affected by the happenings in his bands past
Which really tugs at your heart strings.

Alicia is In love with her best friend from college, but he is getting married to someone else, leaving her heartbroken. So she steps out of her very organised and predictable life to take a chance on doing something crazy and unpredictable with Dex.

This story is just smokin hot greatness off the chart chemistry between Alicia and Dex.
The sex scenes sizzled and were swoon worthy. I was left wanting more and didn’t want this book to end it was so very good.

I fell for Beachwood Bay with Emerson and Juliet and have loved all the books so far. This is an offshoot to the series and I think this a fab new addition to the family!

Alicia is the consummate professional, good girl, over thinker and pining over unrequited love, falls literally into the arms of Dex, rocker, bad boy struggling with demons and himself over an event that has caused him his recent exile from the music he desperately loves.

What starts out as one week of no promises or expectations, just passion and discovery turns into two people finding their souls being fulfilled by the other....Alicia with her need to let go of plans and safe boxes, just to live in the now with someone and something real, being made to feel safe and loved even if you feel you are about to hurl yourself off a cliff...Dex finding his grounding and peace and the need to know he is good enough to be loved, a good man.

I loved their banter and teasing and dirty talk....I loved that Alicia pulled up her big girl bridgets and retaliated with her own teasing when Dex thought he had the upperhand! There was bound to be a blip on their horizon and it came......it was a hold you breath, toss your kindle at the wall, what are you both thinking blip!!!! Eventually, they found their way back and get their HEA.....but I would've seriously liked an epilogue to round that off...but so hoping there will be more of them dropping into future books.

At the end of the book was a teaser for the next Callahan book about Tegan, Dex's whirlwind of a sister and Ryland , Emerson and Brit's errant wayward brother (finally!).....bring it on....

    Fab, enjoyable read, highly recommend!!!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

Alicia has been in love with Hunter since they were in uni together but he’s not in love with her. In fact he’s about to marry Brit who he obviously adores! The thing is that he doesn’t know, and has never known, how Alicia feels about him. To him they’re just best friends. Then Alicia meets Dex Garrett, a famous rock star who she spends a wild night with and who she leaves because she feels guilty! In her mind she loves Hunter but she can’t forget about Dex. He’s the one she dreams about. Two months after that one special night she is still thinking about him to the point that she loses track in the middle of important meetings! She doesn’t know why because, of course, she’s in love with Hunter! But one night, she throws caution to the wind and phones the number that Dex gave her two months before.
Dex has given up the wild rock lifestyle and is living in seclusion but he hasn’t been able to forget Alicia either so, when she phones, he offers her a passionate week with no limits but those she puts up.
These are two damaged people who collide in life and find themselves on a wild, passionate ride together, even if it’s only for a week, but you keep waiting for the accident that’s waiting to happen.
I felt like shaking Alicia just about the whole way through the book while Dex is a very complex person in a very dark place but, at the same time, he’s very simpatico.
    A good read.

This book should come with a warning about needing a fan and some ice cubes while reading!!! This book was smoking' HOT ;) This series just keeps getting better and better with every book that Melody Grace releases. Her writing, to me is flawless. Her stories always suck me in and keep me interested all the way through. She creates such great characters that you never want their stories to end. She also knows how to create a love story without dragging anything out to long or giving us over the top drama. Yes, her books have some drama in them (the miscommunication) but they are always solved and over fairly quickly. The only reason I didn't give this book a full 5 stars was because I thought the ending was to abrupt or quick. I would've liked 1 more chapter finishing out Dex and Alicia's story. I can't expand on that because it would spoil the ending of the book, you'll understand what I mean once you have read the book.

"One week. No rules, no limits, just us. I can save you from this unrequited love of yours. And you…you can save me from myself."…Dex

We meet Dex and Alicia at the end of Unconditional. We get our first real taste of these two characters in their novella, Unrequited. I would definitely suggest reading that first so that you can get to know Dex and Alicia a little better before jumping into this book. I knew after reading their novella, that I just had to have more of these two, especially DEX!!!! That man is HOT ;) and boy does he have a dirty mouth. (I wouldn't mind him whispering in my ear) Dex is a sexy rock star who has stepped out of the lime light because of a tragic event that happened in his past. He harbors a lot of guilt over the event and feels he needs to seclude himself from the world, that he doesn't deserve to be happy and find love. My heart broke for him after reading about his past, but i was glad to see that he was able to work things out as the book went on. With thanks to Alicia, she was an amazing support for Dex, but she was not without issues either. Alicia has had an unrequited love for someone for over 3 years. (I'm not going to say who, you'll have to read the book to find out.) When she meets Dex, he opens her world to adventure and fun and a lot of sexy time. He is there to show her that she needs to move on with her life and find someone who will return her feelings. These two were amazing together….talk about scorching chemistry.

"Some things, you can't plan for. Some people, you know before you even meet. Some loves are forever."…Alicia

This book is part of the Beachwood Bay series, but it is also the start of a spin-off series called The Callahan's. It will focus on The Callahan siblings, but will still focus around the town of Beachwood Bay and past characters will still be making appearances. I liked that in this book we got to see Hunter and Brit and Carina and Garrett. It was great getting more of their stories and I also feel we got the conclusions to their books.

I am a HUGE fan of this series and I love this new direction Melody Grace is taking with these characters and stories. Each of the books can be read as standalones, but I would suggest reading them in order and experience everything this series has to offer!!!

This book gets my 100% recommendation!!!

It's not often I start a book and can't put it down. Well I started this book 2 and could not put it down. The attraction between the two is sizzling and keeps you on your toes. They overcome daemons and obstacles but not without heartache. Truly a great story. A must read.

Wow, talk about your steamy, hot romance! I thought my kindle was going to catch on fire. Their chemistry was off the charts, so much so, that before I knew it the world around vanished as I found myself getting totally lost in Dex and Alicia's story.

The only reason I didn't give this book a full 5 stars, was because I thought the ending was too abrupt. I would've liked at least 1 more chapter, or at least a short epilogue, in order to completely finish out Dex and Alicia's story. I want to know if they took a leap that night, or did they wait?
