Confused about Kindle keywords and categories?

As an author you are likely not a master of Amazon keyword research and category placement. If this is a skill set you don't have, this is the book that will put you head and shoulders above other authors.Yes, you've read the blogs & books that tell you to put keywords in your title, description etc...Some of Which is WRONG or Oversimplified!
  • What if those keywords are too competitive?
  • What if those keywords don't bring enough searches to matter?
  • How do you measure any benefits your (or other authors) keywords may be bringing?
I promise you that apart from the foundational basics, this is NOT the same old stuff repackaged! To quote a reviewer:"I promise you've never seen it put together this way."Listen, I want to assure you that the information inside is groundbreaking, I know there are dozens of books on writing for CreateSpace and Kindle to choose from, none of them contain the secret that I will take you through, a technique that will works miracles for you when applied correctly! Most books teach you how to promote your book to make sales, I want to teach you to optimize your book so that is stays "Amazon buoyant" for literally years, even if you leave it to it's own devices. What do I mean by "buoyant?" I mean it will float on it's own, keep making sales, and keep making money. Rather than hit the top 100 in its category and then slowly sink into the Amazon black hole.

Marketing gets you to the top, this books helps get you to the top and then helps keep you there!

Here's my challenge to you:Here's a taster of the things we'll cover inside:
  • 1 powerful tactic that promotes ongoing sales, WITHOUT ongoing work or promotion!
  • How to access dozens of future book ideas without trying.
  • Position your book so that ONLY those using external promos can beat you.
  • The "invisible hand" secret that lets you maximize income.
  • Correct category placement to get more eyes on your book.

I'm not even going to go into keyword research/usage here, that's where I'm really going to blow you away!

I'll leave you with more honest words from a Vine Voice Reviewer before I sign off..."I feel as if I am sitting next to him & he is tutoring me. He even provides the occasional moronic humor that a geek tutor would use to keep the topic lightened up.All of the above is meant as a compliment - this book has personality."So we come to a crossroads, we part ways...Or I teach you something new that you can't find anywhere else! This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back...You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed & believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland & I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.Buy CreateSpace and Kindle Self Publishing Matrix today and take your Kindle earnings up a notch!

Chris Naish has seen all 5 of the books written under this name hit the No1 best seller position in their respective categories. Most are now no longer on sale, as the content has become outdated. (Be warned authors, keep it evergreen! :-)

For four years prior to getting involved in self-publishing on Kindle he spent his time learning about online marketing. His main interest in this area was keyword research, and the benefits it can bring to any website or business.

Much like the vast majority of online marketers, he usually spends quite a bit of his time experimenting with every shiny object which crosses his path, much to the distaste of his wife and bank manager.

This book is an eye-opener. I bought it after a best selling author recommended it. It’s been published for a while but in my view, the contents are still valid and applicable as they were few years ago, though the ranking software mentioned is no longer in use. But equally the principles in the book are still valid. I recommend this book to any aspiring kindle and createspace content creator.

If you're looking for ways to promote your next Kindle publication, then look no further than this book by Chris Naish!

Sure, we've all heard that the only way to get eyeballs on your book in Kindle is by ways of promoting the hell out of it - Facebook, Twitter, pay-per-click, publishing it on countless other websites, and not merely on Kindle. Who really wants to have to undergo all that extra work? Aren't we writers, and shouldn't we be focusing our time and energies on writing?

Well, there is another method of promoting your book/s and that method is via the Kindle system alone!

Chris outlines what is arguably the only way to achieve top-flight rankings in your chosen Kindle categories, other than for authors who are already popular. In other words, if you're just starting out, or you've not yet found much in the way of Kindle success, this book is certainly for you!

Inside the book, you'll learn all about how to find good keywords for your books' title. You'll also learn how to monitor your competition's books and gain insights into what they are doing in order to increase their own publication's popularity.

There's no stone left unturned here and Chris also offers a number of extremely useful resources to help you on the pathway to success - most of those resources are free!

Once you know how, it's easy, and Chris shows you each step of the way, in an informal and relaxed manner, that's necessary for ultimate success in Kindle publishing!

If you're the kind of person who likes to take a scientific approach to the writing business, you really should read this book. Basically it's the science of keywords taken to the n'th degree. I was flattered to find that Chris Naish used one of my own books (amongst others) as a case study, and he got most of his assumptions right, so I know his method is accurate. The vast (really vast) majority of self-publishers don't pay anywhere near enough attention to optimising their books for Amazon, and it can be the difference between making a living and losing your shirt. This isn't the whole story, but it's a very important part of what you need to master if you're going to walk the walk. A valuable contribution; Highly Recommended.

Almost gave this book a 1 star rating. Why? Because I didn't find it when I needed it! Where the hell was this book when I published my first 2 books, dammit? Haha, in all seriousness, I learned a LOT from this book and will be using the strategies for my future books!

"The proof is in the pudding," as they say, and I haven't had this book long enough to have put the instructions into practice yet, so I'll have to update when I do. However, upon an initial reading, and based on my past experience with Kindle, my gut instinct is that Naish is right on target.

Unlike many other Kindle marketing books, he doesn't just tell you WHAT you need to accomplish, he tells you exactly HOW to do it, step-by-step. If you've been in this for a while, it might not all be new to you. Some of it is fairly basic, because foundations matter! But there is no sense of "he's selling me all the most basic information everyone already knows just so HE can get rich" - which I have definitely gotten from some other books (not his) in the past.

The premise of this book is NOT that you shouldn't market, but what you can do to most solidly establish your book right here on Amazon. If you don't do much - or any - marketing that will be absolutely essential. If you DO plan to market, it will only enable your marketing to do that much BETTER.

I really feel that the difference is in the details with this one. The information is tried and tested (and my own experience bears out his information as accurate), and provided EXACTLY so there's no question about what to do with it.

The writing style is also enjoyable, making the study of a topic fun that could otherwise be pretty boring.

5.0 out of 5 stars Selling without marketing - an authors utopia!
Reviewed in the United States on 5 July 2014
When I read the subtitle of this book, particularly the 'Sell Without Marketing' part, I grabbed this book. After all, that is what most authors want to do isn't it? You write the book, spend hours reading how to market it, spend weeks knowing you should be doing something, but are overwhelmed at the amount of work, and a year later you are still reading... er... procrastinating... well, that's me anyway!!

In fact this marketing business has got me so wound up it is affecting my writing! And then I saw this book. And the subtitle. This truly could be a dream come true...(or wishful thinking if I don't do anything!!)

This is such an easy read and I loved the humorous way of writing and even more loved all those quotes. I have learned so much and after finishing, I want to perhaps take a chapter a day and implement it.

Whilst I did love this book and learn a lot, I know that it will be a steep learning curve, but as Thomas Fuller put it "All things are difficult before they are easy." And I know that my inclination is to procrastinate and put things off as I have 'other' things to do, but really will make an effort to do this.

I leave you with another quote (you really inspire me Chris)

"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work" (Thomas A. Edison)
