Dr Ben Awoseyila is the founding pastor of Healing Springs Church, Basingstoke, UK. He holds a Ph.D. in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK, where he has also worked in research and teaching for several years. He is passionate about helping people solve their problems and teaching them divine truths for victorious living.

Dr Ben Awoseyila is the founding pastor of Healing Springs Church, which was established in Basingstoke, United Kingdom in October 2012, in obedience to God’s call for the end-time generation. He came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and Lord when he was 9 years old, and has consistently walked with God for more than three decades since then. He holds a BSc degree (1st Class) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria), an MSc (with Distinction) and a PhD in Mobile and Satellite Communications (University of Surrey, Guildford, UK).

Ben has always known that he has the calling of God upon his life since he got born-again at an early age and was baptised with the Holy Spirit. He is a man of vision and purpose who is highly motivated to lead others in the path of righteousness. He has been involved in mentoring and discipling believers since his secondary school and university days in Nigeria. He is a firm believer in the divine transformation of lives. He believes that people can become the best that God destined them to be in His ‘good, acceptable and perfect’ will, as they yield to the divine truths of the Word.

Pastor Ben is happily married to his beloved wife, who helps him in life and ministry. They are blessed with three sons who love the Lord.

I really appreciate the author for taking out time to explain some of the true meaning and purpose of life using contemporary scientific knowledge. It's a must buy and read book regardless of our thoughts about life.

    This book answered a lot of questions I had about life, creation and purpose.

    It is a pocket size book which makes it easy to carry around. It's easy to read and addresses a lot of key questions about mankind and purpose from a biblical perspective.

    If you have ever wondered about what you were created for and why, the purpose of life and all other related questions you will likely find your answers in this book.

    The author did really well with addressing important life question a small book. This book is also very simple and easy to read. I will recommend it.

    It is clear from the contents that the author is an academic as well as a lover of God. This is a must buy for, and must read by, professed atheists. Dr. Awoseyila a.k.a., Pastor Ben chooses his words eloquently making it absolutely clear beyond controversy the purpose of life. I must add, this is not a book to read once and then shelved, this is a book that can be read over and over again and answers will still be found to the questions you might have. A massive congratulations to Pastor Ben, well done! I hope we won't have to wait too long for another book of such weight from God through you.

    This book has unfolded three key messages. First, the importance of questioning. It shows that questioning is a very powerful way to engage our mind and heart. For example, the chapter on ‘how can I win?’ may attract an immediate attention, who doesn’t want to win? I personally find the seven hindrances to winning in this chapter have particular relevance to us in our daily lives. Second, the salience of true identity. This book challenges us to think about that inner sense of self; who we really are? Why God has created us and give us a life in this world? It is the hope in Christ and in Christ alone will lead to true hope in life. And without a true identification in Christ we can never be truly happy, truly satisfied and truly secure. It goes back to question ‘how can I win?’ knowing who we really are gives us a firm starting point to understand the purpose of life. Third, the importance of decision. This book illustrates the invalid science of evolution and the truth of the creator in defining our origin. Choices are in our hands and through God’s words! What are you waiting for? Do you want a life with true and permanent happiness, full confidence in all circumstances? This books offers a simplified way to unfold these messages.
