About the Author

Lena Black is a former Medical Assistant living in Los Angeles. She is a daughter, sister, and future Mrs. Lena was introduced to books for leisure at a young age by her mother and grandmother's love of the written word. Lena started out writing short stories, with aspirations of penning a novel someday. She was finally inspired to do so after she read a certain risqué series. Lena is currently working on the next two books in the series, with others in the works.

I must say I quite enjoyed this book, very fifty shades without the red room. But like all books you just get into them and you have to wait years for the next one.

    I enjoyed reading this book. The characters are good and the story developed well.

    Gabrielle is a great character. She’s got a troubled past, but she’s also a strong independent woman. Damian’s lifestyle is new to her, and she doesn’t just give in to his every demand.

    I loved reading their relationship develop. They’re so much more to eachother and both have scars from their past haunting them. Everything moved very quick though, and understood her reluctance. He is very intense. Their problem is that they don’t communicate as much as they should. Their answer to every problem is sex. Given his lifestyle, I understand it, but they are also claiming to be more which requires more.

    The ending was exciting. Everything so happy, and I knew something was going to go wrong. I hope they manage to sort it out. I think the spark between them is natural, but they just need to communicate. I think he deserves to know what happened.

    Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and I would definitely recommend it. I’m looking forward to reading the next one.

    Really enjoyed this book. Lots of things happening to keep you hooked. I hate having to wait for the next one to continue the story! Needs to sort out grammar though 'we're' means 'we are' not 'were' as it should be. Whoever proof read this book obviously needs some english lessons!

Really liked the story, characters and that ending ohhhh can't wait for next instalment. I loved having music with the story it gives that added feeling for a particular scene.     Free download. Well I read the reviews and they were mixed but I loved this book. I'm disappointed I have to wait for the next book but I'm looking forward to carrying on the story. Gabrielle has had a traumatic history but when she meets Damian Hunt they have an automatic attraction. Damian is a self made billionaire who runs his business like his sex life, in control but when he meets Gabrielle his feelings take over and they start an intense romantic sexual and erotic relationship, throw in their need to please each other with also includes a dom/sub relationship. Things move along very quickly and although they have a very temperamental relationship their feelings are clear. The story is hot, the plot is great and there are plenty of people working against them making this story work keeping you hooked. The writers words are in depth, and the characters make for good reading and each seems to have their own agenda creating angst. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series, and would recommend to anybody who enjoys books like FSOG and The Crossfire Series. Similar traits but very different stories.

    I purchased this in 2016 and every time I try to read it I end up giving up, the writing is poor and what is it with big X's where there is supposed to be a note from Hunt?? I have redownloaded this several times but still they do not show up, anyway the story seems intriguing but I just cannot get past the writing, this book needs editing and re releasing ro fix the errors and maybe just maybe I will get to finishing it

    I really enjoyed this book. Damian, has been known as a ladies man. He is very successful in his career, and has just about anything a person could want, except for a woman who will love him for him, and not his money. His parents were killed when he was very young, so he was passed off to other family members, but did not have a good experience.

    Gabrielle, is also a successful businesswoman who has been struggling with trusting another man. She has been raised in a loving home, but when she gets together with her college sweetheart, he does things to her that are unthinkable. She has not shared any of her misgivings with her family, or best friend, who is the twin sister to the monster she was with. Like Damian, Gabrielle is well off financially but she does not flaunt her money. Both individuals are trying to overcome their past demons, while trying to have a relationship without letting the past get in their way.

    This book has very steamy scenes that leave you fanning yourself, while wanting to be in Gabrielle's place at the same time.
    The storyline is awesome and believable. Another great book that I couldn't put down.

    I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that doesn't mind spending the night/day reading.
