- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 February 2014for anyone looking to start adding smoothies to their nutritional plan , then this is a great introductory book. Some great recipes in here and i like the way its split into smoothies for certain outcomes like weight loss, immune boosters, anti aging etc,
There's a good intro into the importance of using low GI produce, superfoods and proteins. I weight train a few times a week, so need alot of protein. All i do is add another scoop or 2 of high quality protein powder to every smoothie than i make, and i get an extra 15-30 grams of protein...result!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2016Some good suggestions but some altogether odd ones. At 42 pages, extremely expensive especially given the lack of colour, photography and general inspiration. Will definitely use two or three of the recipes but overall wouldn't recommend to anyone else to buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book with LOTS of creative and healthy smoothie recipes..
This is not your ordinary smoothie book. It's also a health resource. The author, who is also a Registered Nurse, knows what she's talking about! Kasia not only shares delicious recipes, but also teaches the importance of eating healthy.
I really like how she explains the "glycemic index" (which is important for monitoring sugar levels). Also the list of SUPERFOODS is a great list to have.
I also liked how she organized her recipes for "post workouts", this is perfect for me because after the gym. I can just go right to that section and quickly blend up a super healthy smoothie! Great resource if your looking to eat healthy and stay fit!

5.0 out of 5 stars Healthy smoothie recipes
This is a decent book about healthy smoothies. The list of super foods is very informative and most of the smoothies featured in the book are based on these super foods. Nutrition facts about each recipe are also very valuable info. Book is well written and recipes are well organized by their health benefits such as metabolism boosters, cancer fighters, immunity boosters and many more. I highly recommend this book for people who are serious about their health.

3.0 out of 5 stars Short and sweet
This is a fair book on smoothies. there were not a ton of recipes, but many sound good. there were a lot of odd ingredients that I have no idea where I'd find.
