    At the time of typing the price for this collection is ridiculously good value. I love the fantasy genre and I'm always interested in finding new worlds to explore. I love this story, it's absolutely fantastic. The collection is large enough to allow the author the time to really develop the characters and the storyline. Given the age of the heroes I suppose this is primarily for the teen market, but I believe that it's a great read for any age. This story is the voyage of discovery that our heroes makes to find out who the really are and what that entails. It's a powerful, compelling story and I highly recommend it.

    Author seems to have targeted the books towards suiting all audiences, which I fear makes them a bit middle of the road for me. Some elements appear to be borrowed from other famous books, that aside the three books in the collection did seem to mature as you read them. Therein lies the ultimate goal, I read and enjoyed them all.

    Got this box set as a freebie for son but had a read myself. I thought it was great for 10yrs+ to read. The younger the reader, the better in regards to the length of each book, but as an adult, all three books together felt like one novel.

    The relationship between twins Colin and Meghan is written very well and captures the maturity they must take on as events unfold as well as the usual teenage petulance and childish understandings of relationships and the way the world works - whether it be mortal or magical. The way the author drip feeds information also gets a plus. It isn't drawn out so that the reader forgets teasers (whether hidden or not) yet not everything is explained right away so that the books still hold some mystery.

    As an adult, I'm not sure whether I'd be prepared to pay for the sequels after these 3. I'll have to wait and see what my son's opinion is once he's read them I guess!

    What a terrific story of magic and the good and bad of humanity. The author has a terrific way with words, and the story is well planned out so that at the end of each story the reader wants the next book. I am eagerly awaiting the next 2 books, set 4, which is supposed to be out soon. I found myself very caught up in the characters, their struggles, and their interactions with each other. There is plenty of love, hate, excitment, tender moments and all very cleanly done. I am not into foul language and smut. This saga has been a breath of fresh air and so much fun. I am writing this review having also now read Box Set 2 and 3. This author in no way lets me down. I have been recommending this story to both teenagers and adults like myself. If you enjoy reading about magic and fantasy, you will enjoy this story.
