I gave this book 4 stars because although it is not my usual Sci-Fi genre, the story has been well thought out and holds your interest to the end, with a twist in the tale, I would recommend this as a good read and it is not a long book.

This has the potential to be a much better story. The author could do with making an effort on occasion; he could find out that an assistant is not an 'Aid' (his capitalization) but an aide. He also had the US president being asked to go to the 'highest level of alert', whereas, since it is supposed to be based in the present day, what's to stop the author referring to DEFCON1? Also, why, if the aliens cannot physically hurt anyone, do they do so earlier in the book?

An absolute gem of a read. I really enjoyed this little book - the story is unique and there is a superb twist right at the end. I look forward to reading some more about Adam and maybe they'll make this into a movie - it is worthy of that.

Quite an exciting book. Easy to read. Interesting angle on a sci-fi story with the autistic boy. Probably a good read for an early teenager. Enjoyable read

A really good read, a refreshingly original theme. Would like to see Keith Lawson write a longer book sometime to make the reading experience last longer.

This is the first book I read by this author and I loved it. I will definitely be looking for more of his work in the future as it had a great storyline and fantastic dialogue. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I read the other reviews about the grammatical errors and figure they must have been fixed before my purchase. I found none. This was exciting reading. It would be great to read more about Adam. Thanks for writing such a wonderful book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Original invasion story

Great inter-dimensional science fiction concept with creative beings. This is fertile ground for an expanded story. The story starts right off and has good pacing throughout. I liked the imagination displayed here. The writing is clear and the story flows. Some really good ideas here. Recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars This has a lot of potential

First, I really liked the story. It could have been a more fully-developed novel (380+ pages), but I enjoyed reading it. I would have given it five stars except there were hundreds of grammatical mistakes that made it hard to read for a dyslexic reader like me.

For example: "He was finding it more and more difficult to accept the situation yet here he was sitting in the cockpit of one of the world's most reliable passenger aeroplanes having been captured by an unknown and immensely powerful force and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it." Whew!

Well written. Even paced with no repeating of story line. The author had something to say and said it in a entertaining dialoge. I would have liked to read more which is something I rarely say about a book. It was fresh and different.

4.0 out of 5 stars Different Look On A Story That Has Been Done Before With Some New Twists!!

Liked the Story, Was not sure of what was totally going on until the End, and then A Nice Little Surprise which has me wondering when there will be a sequel. Not Bad At All.
