Rosa Suen is the Pastor and Church Pianist in Christian Disciples Church in Hong Kong. She graduated from University of British Columbia and received her teaching certificate specializing in Chemistry and Teaching English as a Second Language. After teaching in the Canadian Public Schools for 2 years, she furthered her education in Theological studies in Northwest Baptist Seminary and Ontario Theological Seminary in Toronto. She graduated from the Master's program in Christian Theological Ministry and entered into full time Pastoral Counselling and Discpleship Training at Christian Disciples Church in Hong Kong. She received her pastoral ordination in 1996 and have been serving as a church minister in a local church in Tsuen Wan.

For 30 years, Rosa has been teaching the Bible and conducting discipleship programs for adults. She is also the director of the music department and the church pianist. Her first book, "Color Chord Improvisation Method" was such a success when it was published in 2008 that she started a piano website teaching piano online to hundreds of students all over the world. Since then, she has authored many Music Theory Books, Reharmonization Methods, 7 Secrets to Tap Into The Mind of a Piano Player in book and video formats.

    As an avid folk fan I bought these books with high hopes, expecting to find a good mix of world folk songs. I was so disappointed to find that the books contained largely American material of songs unfamiliar to me. It would be useful if this could be pointed out to people in the book descriptions.

    I really enjoyed learning to play the songs included in this two book set. I got it on my kindle. I even wrote down the chords to one of my favorite songs Mrs. Robinson by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.Also an easy to play version of The Sounds of Silence is in there as well. It is well worth purchasing, for those who love to play and sing the folk songs as I do. I find the chord positions on the Ukulele are easier to play than on my guitar. Don't miss out on a wonderful find.
