About the Author

Michelle Jackson lives in Howth County Dublin with her husband and two children. She studied Fashion and Textiles in the National College of Art and Design where Philip Treacy was one of her fellow students and kicked off her career as a sock designer. In the 1980's her designs filled the aisles of all major UK department stores. After teaching art to secondary students for several years she took a career break and went to lecture in a college in Oxford in the late 1990's. The writing bug hit in 2003, hours after she discovered that she was expecting her daughter Nicole who she claims is her muse.

Michelle Walsh Jackson is the author of eight Irish best-selling novels. Her newest offering is 'Journey to the Heartland'. All are set in different exotic locations, 'One Kiss in Havana', 'Two Days in Biarritz' and 'Three Nights in New York' '4am in Las Vegas' '5 Peppermint Grove' and 'Six Postcards Home'. Five titles have been #1 bestsellers on Amazon kindle. With a background as a designer and art teacher she sees her writing as painting with words. Her passion for travel has influenced her hugely and she writes travel articles for newspapers and periodicals. Her articles can be read in The Irish Times, The Irish Daily Mail and National Geographic Traveller et al

Michelle presents a weekly travel slot on the Hard Shoulder on Newstalk FM and on Elaine on Virgin Media One.

Her first children's book is now available on kindle entitled 'The Boy who liked Ice Cream Too Much.'

She has also co-written a non-fiction book of inspiration for women entitled 'What Women Know.' Her novels have been translated into several European languages.

She is a native of Howth, County Dublin, Ireland where she lives with her two children.
