Ancient Origins: Revelations: An action-adventure novel set after an asteroid strike on Earth Kindle Edition
The world holds its breath as the colossal asteroid 2011 AG5 hurtles towards the earth. As humanity is faced with extinction, archaeologist Sarah Morgan is in a race against time to uncover a secret that has been buried for millennia: that an advanced ancestor once populated the earth.
As Sarah travels across the continents in search of the truth, she discovers there are those that will kill to protect this most ancient of secrets... Meanwhile, in a clandestine facility below the earth’s surface, Professor Steiner has been charged with overseeing the preservation of the human race. Steiner believes he is on schedule to deliver his task, but as the world is poised on the brink of destruction, Steiner’s plans begin to unravel.
That which has lain buried may yet prove to be their only hope…

About the author

Robert Storey is the creator of the Ancient Origins universe and the author of the first six books.
Writing came relatively late in life, after a car accident and a health condition that left Rob at his home in Kent in the UK, with time to finally start a career he had always dreamed of.
The result was a book called 2040: Revelations. Set on earth in the near future as a huge asteroid neared its inevitable collision. Part of the book was concerned with the political response to the cataclysmic event and part was a startling tale of an archaeological discovery that would turn earth's history upside down.
Both aspects of the story are grounded in real life. Many countries have secret plans for an extinction level event, including secretive underground bunkers. And plenty of archaeologists have discussed the possibility that the ground beneath us still holds many secrets.
With a growing fanbase of readers, Rob wrote and published five further books in the series, renaming them 'Ancient Origins' along the way.
Tragically, while working on books 7 and 8, Rob lost his life. He was just 42 years old.
Today Rob's books are published by Fuse Books in collaboration with Rob's parents Terry and Maureen.
Together they plan to posthumously publish Ancient Origins books 7 and 8.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 February 2021The story line was great but it did get a bit bogged down in technical details that seemed to carry on for ages shorter attention to details would have been better instead of rambling on
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 May 2024This book was different from the usual apocalypse stories as it chronicles the world's response to the threat of an asteroid striking earth while at the same time exploring an intriguing archaeological quest. I was fascinated, wondering when the two ideas would mesh together. I am now looking forward to the next in the series.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 May 2024So many seemingly disparate stories leaving you wondering how they will come together.
Can't wait for the next episode in the series.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 March 2023Great read, great writing but hated the fact that the book literally finished halfway through. There was no ending to any part of the story. It was an unfinished book. Doesn't make me want to read the next volume, just makes you me think what a waste of time. I really
enjoyed what I read but felt very disappointed with where it finished
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 September 2024Good read
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 August 2022At times frustratingly slow. And like reading three separate books, but, like the asteroids, they converge. The story becomes more gripping and as the action hots up a wee bit exciting. And then pow! It's all stop at the buffers of the end of the book. Talk about cliffhanger...
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 June 2022Quite fast pace and interesting story line which is quite diverse before being pulled together.I likes it and will try the second in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story, excellent Charakters, comparable to Michal Chrichton
These Books are Most exciting and a Great and Epic read. They comprise everything a good Story needs: background, Characters, Science and excitement. Just Finished the third Book, read on für Hours on Ende and Could Not put them aside. I Hope the complete Story will lead to a satisfying and enlightning end. Just one remark: the author should have consulted with a native speaker for the german Translations.
"BIC behause i can" translates: "weil ich es muss" Or "weil ich es kann". Some Minor Flaws also in Book 2, german Translations Not Clear. Apart from this: the best Books i read for a Long Time.
