I wasn't sure if I would like this when I read a synopsis of the story but once I began reading it I couldn't put it down! The style is easy to read while at the same time being detailed enough to bring the world it describes alive. It is well paced and the characters are interesting enough to make you care what happens to them. The only negative I have with this book, and it probably says more about me than the book, is that I had difficulty remembering some of the character names as a few of them were similar. However this didn't spoil my enjoyment just made me feel old!

I originally downloaded it on my Kindle as it was a free purchase. I was very surprised how quickly I got into. Thoroughly enjoyed it, to the extent that I proceeded to buy the next two in the trilogy. To be fair the sequels didn't break the bank and was equally enjoyable. The style of writing flows easily and the characters are very strong. Highly recommended.

Hope is a blind girl dragged from her own world to another, completely different world, where she has to come to terms with another life and acceptance of strange new powers.
This story is original, well written and flows beautifully.
I'm off to read the next one in the series...

The book starts of very well I thought and immediately got my attention. However through out the book I thought it was very slow and did not really like it that much. Closer to the end their is some good action and I liked this more. However the in between chapters I found to be boring village life and a bit of this is fine but personally I tout there was to much of that. Otherwise it is a good book and I thought a good story line in general.

I read alot of books and its rare to find one with a storyline that hasnt been done. This is one of the best books I have read. I went right out and bought the trilogy it was that good in two days I have read two of the books. There are a few writing mistakes grammer extra words etc but it does not detract from the brilliant story. Well done Ms Anderson I will be looking at your other books.

I was really hooked while reading this book and the fact that it was out of this world made it more believable. I was sceptical sling with hope but soon grew to live the characters along with hope, the ending was do unexpected and sad that I hope that they get their ending and hope can be forgiven by blane.

Hope is a good name for the heroine of this story, and I found that I could relate to her fears as she described them. Her blindness made her very vulnerable and Blayne as her carer was much needed in her life. The story is certainly one that takes you to different planes in life, and yet has a story that romantics would like.

I really liked Seer's Hope. It had a good combination of romance, mystery, intrigue and fantasy. It had a wonderful plot line and ended with a bit of a cliff hanger, not enough of one that you were unsatisfied with the book but enough that it made you want to go out and buy the next book. It was overall for me a good book. I would recommend it to someone who enjoys fantasy and a strong female lead.

Wasn't perfect, that's for sure. In the beginning, The Seer had a little language issue going on. Which wasn't surprising, since she was kidnapped from this world and thrown into an alternate world. At that point, the language stumbling helped me overlook the editing problems. But as her language skills improved, it seemed like the wrong words, wrong word tense, and grammatical errors increased.

However, it's a tribute to the writing that I was able to easily overlook these issues and become engrossed in the story. Lots of emotion in this novel, good portrayal of an alternate world dimension, interesting characters, and a plot that moves along smoothly.

Although the basic storyline was reasonably resolved by the end of this installment, it did leave one wanting to know what happens in the next book. No way can I resist finding out what happens to the Seer and her new family.

Suitable for almost any age group; no strong language, no explicit sex scenes, and no graphic violence.

A stereotypical romance novel disguised as a fantasy adventure. The female lead is a victim of circumstances who very soon meets the most hunkiest hunk in all of hunk-dom. He is all rippling muscle and rugged good looks doused in cuddly wuddlyness and emotional sensitivity. He falls in love with the female lead immediately despite his stellar popularity with all the local ladies, and becomes instantly totally faithful and committed to her and only her. He's her white knight, yada yada yada ... and punches out anyone who gets in her way. He is an all-around estrogen satisfying dreamboat. Did I mention he is also a "doctor"? Of course, and not just your average "doctor", he is the "head doctor" in all of doctor-dom. Did I also mention he does laundry, cooks, brings her breakfast in bed and is the world's best lover? But of course.

The entire "epic" conflict between the forces of good and evil that is foreshadowed thoughout the entire first half of the book is basically resolved in two chapters so that the female lead can quickly get back to her engagement/wedding planning, new dresses and shoes, BFFs, parties, and foot massages / cuddling.

Gals will probably love the story (for obvious reasons). Guys will roll their eyes at all the ways that they could not possibly measure up to the model of perfection that is portrayed as the female lead's love interest ... thereby making her less and less interesting because she is absolutely unapproachable by mortal man.

Its was an entertaining read but I've no interest in sloughing through more of the same.
