The story is set in a small village called Kinlochgoil in Argyll, Scotland and spans two different centuries. Two children, Sarah Campbell and John Cameron, both receive a chest of drawers from their parents. An event in the past by Sarah Campbell involving the chest of drawers changes the life of John Cameron in the future. Can the chest of drawers bring these two children together? I can't tell you anymore because that's the secret of the chest of drawers. You will have to read the story and discover the secret for yourself.

12,000 words, 8 illustrations, recommended for age group 7-11. Younger children would enjoy having the story read to them.

I really enjoyed this book, it had a good concept of time and how items are passed through generations of family. It also gave a small insight into the differences in how people from different centuries lived and children played. The illustrations where also excellent.

This book has exciting mysteries in it! It was very exciting and I didn't know what would happen until the end! It would be suitable for all ages because it's not scary at all. Lola age 8

such a lovely read i love it and it is really good at describing to you about all that happens , it is a very warm book that encaptures you especially the fact that it is set in two different times and told by two different people, anyway i wont spoil it for you but look out for the obvious. a really great read for the car or for when you have some spare time. i would recommend it for the 8-12year old but for adults it is a nice and short read. it still is amazing even though it has only 47 pages. thank you and i hope you enjoy the book like i did
