- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 December 2013Oh my God! Melanie Marks story line reminded me so much of the typical life of a teen! Frenemies, crushes, and endless note passing during class! I cannot help but recognise the comparisons that happen to many girls just like Nicole! This book I would recommend to readers between the ages 11-13 as a funny and girly guide to surviving the confusing, embarrassing unforgettable moments that come with being a teenager! Good easy read that will be enjoyed and used as a survival guide when and if you do come to that awkward stage of coming to terms with crush wars!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 August 2013The book was great nearly as good as the first one the slumber party war but the book was fab so easy to read I read it in 6hours. It was fun and enjoyable to read and I did not put the book down until it was finished witch I was sad about but then I started the other book high school boys who h was great . I would recommend this book to readers age 12 to 16. So this is what I think of the book xxx
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 February 2013This is a very good book and I would recommend it to 11-13 year old girls. The story didn't make sense in some places but otherwise it was brilliant. I liked how it switches from different point of views but I don't like how it sort of didn't finish properly in my point of view. Apart from this it was a great book and it even sort of had a moral to it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 December 2013That was the best book I have read from the series after being blow away from the sleepover wars I thought that this one wouldn't be better or any good at all but actually it was better!!! I can't wait for the next book!! I would defiantly recommend this to 10-12 age group I love the characters, Nicole Matt Nina and Sara! Read this book if you would like to be blown away!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 November 201411 year old daughter found it a bit slushy 'American' girly girl style and wasn't impressed. Suggests books by Cathy Cassidy or Karen McCombie for this age group.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 June 2013This book is great!!!!! I found this book more suitable for girls at the age of 12 or 13. It gives you lovely advice and has a good ending. This book is not to long which is good if it not a huge reader like me! This is the first book I've finished in a long while! Please take my advice this book is great! :) :):)
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 August 2013This book is simply amazing!!! I first found this book under the "recommend for you" section. I chose the 5***** rating because it is my type of book. I would recommend this book for teenagers or high schoolers. This is the first of Melanie Marks Brooks I have read and I hope I will download others that are just as fantastic
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 December 2012I really enjoyed this book. The only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars was the fact that it ended a bit abruptly. Apart from that, overall, a really good book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Super good.
This was a wonderful book about two girls who are fighting over crushes. Nicole likes three guys and Nina is over all of them. Nicole is trying to figure out what guy to choose for her crush when her mom tells her that you are too young to date, so you can like as many guys as you'd like. She tells Matt she can't have a boyfriend, and they admit to each other they like them. Finally, the crush wars is over and Nina and Nicole are back to being friends.

This book is great! I loved it, it had drama and alot of great interest I'm into. I'm 11 so I kinda get what she is feeling, but not fully. I love this author, she is awesome! I finished this book not that long ago and it was really good. I just started Melanie Marks other book called High School Boys. It's starting off really good and I'm hooked.
