Paul Day Chronicles - Love Is Like Fireworks!
(From the days of 2006)
When you’ve just turned 30, you’re single and out of work; whilst your friends are all getting on with their lives and you’re at your lowest ebb, you can be forgiven for ignoring one of the key rules about love, can’t you?
You know, the firework rule – never go back?
So when Paul Day’s childhood sweetheart and first love Louise Knight unexpectedly re-enters his life, there’s nothing wrong in becoming romantically involved with her again, is there?
But will this second shot result in true love that will last forever or, just like one of those unexploded November 5th pyrotechnics, could things be about to disastrously blow up right in Paul’s face?
Love is like Fireworks is taken from the comedy epic that is Paul Day Chronicles – Happily After Ever! and is a short adventure that focuses on what happens when you try to rekindle the flames of love from days gone by.
Touching, thought provoking, and more than anything damn funny, read along as Paul Day brings his own brand of life chaos to every situation he finds himself in.
Part of the award winning Paul Day Chronicles series - Happily After Ever was voted best humour / comedy book of the year by Laugh out Loud eBooks.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 July 2016Good read well worth the download every man's dilemmas explained in a humorous form so true to our own perception
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 January 2014I read the first 5 pages and then dumped it ! Every other sentence (and the title !) ends with an exclamation mark for no apparent reason ...not a good sign ! The comedy is so predictable it's hardly worth bothering, so I didn't !!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 July 2013A very funny story, continuing the comedy series. You can guess what is going to happen but that just adds to the fun of the book. I have read two of the series now and thoroughly enjoyed them and intend to read more.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 March 2013Couldn't put it, simply had to finish it. Made me laugh from the beginning right to the end........can't wait for the next installment

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2012Loved this. Real life is just like this, although maybe not as funny. Always better to laugh at someone else, and Paul Day is someone worth laughing at!
If you want a laugh this will do the trick (and it's a good reminder to anyone thinking of dating 'ex', don't bother!)
