- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2014I did not like the way the story jumped about from one scene to another so often, but in a way it did make you keep your wits about you.
I did like the attention to detail of the various descriptions in each chapter, be they of food, clothing, feelings or whatever.
An interesting book but one full of pain. I wonder if the writing of it acted as a release mechanism for the author?
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2017Another great and twisted tale from this master of horror. I have read most of Edwin's horror novellas and they never fail to disappoint. I enjoyed the hint of mysticism which the author glides into the story, despite the real world setting.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 August 2014I have to admit the story left me confused and I didn't like some of the descriptive eating scenes. Grotesque.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well-written
I picked this book up during a free trial and I'm glad I did. It was an interesting read, I enjoyed the story line, though the ending didn't really make a ton of sense to me. The writing was good, the characters well-developed, and the story itself was compelling. Totally worth picking up, especially at a great price!
