A young woman inherits her grandfather's house and moves in. Why are strange things happening on the property, graffiti on the barn, dead animals in the pump house, is she being targeted and if so, by whom? There are several interlinked plot lines, with interesting characters that pull you in from the beginning. Can investigators put all the puzzle pieces together before disaster happens? I really enjoyed reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

I have enjoyed reading this book but was very disappointed with the ending. It reminded me of a fairy tale with the hero winning the princess & they run off into the sunset together. I did enjoy the first half as I didn't second guess who was the person behind the murders & the bad deeds

Having read the first She Can I was interested to see how the second one would fare up, and I was pleasantly surprised! Again you are pulled into the story and the characters of predominantly Rachel Parker and Chief of Police Mike O'Connell who is trying to find out who is stalking her and why. There and lots of red herrings along the way, but the storytelling and how it evolves makes for a good read. What i also liked was how some characters from the first She Can appeared in this novel which helped tie up a few loose ends. The story was cleverly written, as it started 25 years in the past with a brutal murder. Fast forward 25 years and there is a town with a lot of secrets just waiting to blow up. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and look forward to reading the next one. If you like a good murder or two, then this is ideal!

Yet again another 5 star rating. . Yet again I couldn't put this book down totally riveting, and a lot of hot action to go with the nerve jangling plot. The way Melinda Leigh writes is fast paced each character and description of places and people not forgetting the horses dogs and kids are brought to life. And character like Jack and Beth are brought in as a cotinuency. Brings this series to life. You can read as stand a lones and still be gripped by characters and story lines guarantee you'll want to read all her books from start to finish. Her books being fresh air to this genre.

Again I loved this book! I do have to say that I am amazed by one woman's bad luck! Really, she did suffer! but it was all worth it to unmask the stalker/killer and write all the wrongs! Plus a beautiful HEA! wonderful!

A very well crafted story with a happy ending (I really like happy endings). The villain was well hidden until very near the end. I was sure it was someone else. Well done, fooled me completely.

This was a very good book. I was a little shorter than the first of the series but you really get a feel of the community where these event have happened. You can also really get to know the characters in this story which I definitely like.
