I took this book away with me on holiday having read the author's recent book Private Lives which I loved. Perfect Strangers was a bit different to Private Lives in that it concentrated on two characters rather than the big cast the author usually has. But I think it made it more of a page-turner - in fact I read it in one day on my sun-lounger which I didn't do with any of the other books I took away! I loved the main character Sophie who had to go on the run after her boyfriend was found dead in a hotel suite and the book has a great hero in 'Josh' who I didn't know whether to trust until the very end. There's lots of beautiful locations too in the book which seems to be a hallmark in Tasmina Perry novels.
The ending, set in the wilds of Scotland, was so romantic (and I cried!) which was a really great foil to the rest of the book which had quite a thriller feel to it. The perfect beach read - I hope the author hurries up and writes another one soon as I have almost read everything she had written and find her reliably very, very good.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great plot, good intrigue held your attention from beginning to end. I would recommend it to anyone for a good holiday read. The only reason I haven't given it a 5 star rating was that I thought the end could have been better. I wanted to know what decisions were made about the money.

Tasmina Perry novels have you gripped from the first page, and Perfect Strangers is no exception. Perfect Strangers does, however, set itself apart from TP's other work as it manages to perfectly balance a romantic and a thriller theme which work together with many twists and unexpected turns. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's all you would expect from a Tasmina Perry novel and more. The attention to detail and romance is up to her usual impeccable standard and the fast-paced "murder/mystery"addition ensured that I was utterly intrigued from the start.
A great read..can't wait for her next one!

I agree with the other comments. However, I think the story was really dragged out, and wasn't ' pacey ' enough for me. The ending was good but I think an epilogue could have been added. Tasmina is changing her style of writing to more of 'who done it' - I think she still needs to keep the glamour in her books to add the escapism of everyday life.

I've not read all of Tasmina Perry's books yet but I'm working on it. (I think this is book number 5 for me) This one is different to the other ones I've read so far, such as gold diggers and kiss heaven goodbye but it was just as good! The twists and turns keep you hooked and I read the book in four hours in two sittings! I'm off to the kindle store to get another!

Her books never disappoint. Everyone of her books has a different story but the characters are so well written you become personally invested in their lives and story. You just cant put it down, keeps you guessing up to the very last page. Cant say which book was my favorite. Recommend them all.
