Every Time We Say Goodbye Kindle Edition
Marianne has worked hard to get where she is today. Brought up in care, she's always been determined to make sure her children have what she so badly craved: a secure and loving home. But then comes the news that will change everything: her husband, Dominic, has been found dead.
But as Marianne listens, she realises that not everything adds up: Dom had said he was at work, and yet he died at a restaurant. And what's more, his mobile phone has disappeared. As she, and the police, delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding Dominic's death, they discover a web of lies which conceal a shady double life. And those lies now threaten to tear apart everything that Marianne has worked so hard for.
Now, as Marianne stares down at her husband's coffin, little does she realise that the worst is yet to come…

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 October 2012Wow! I first discovered Colette Caddle as she was recommended to me on Twitter. I downloaded Between the Sheets and inhaled it! I have waited for her latest book Every Time We Say Goodbye and it was well worth the wait! It was released in Ireland first and seeing all the reviews was tantalising. Having now read it for myself, I was not disappointed.
Colette is a lovely story-teller. Her characters are real, flawed and the kind of people you wouldn't mind having as friends. The storylines are real and genuinely constructed in a way that you can believe; (No millionaires flying in on private jets whilst the heroine slips her feet into her Gucci loafers)!
I finished this book, just after midnight and am sad that I won't 'meet' the characters again, find out how their lives and loves turn out but, I guess, that's the joy of reading and having an imagination.
I am now impatient for the next book. I just wish I could be in Ireland for the launch!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 May 2018Just an easy to read chic lit beach read. It was okay but predicable and soppy. Sure many will like but a bit too mills and boon for me.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 January 2015As usual Colette Caddle gave the beautiful Dublin experience in a realistic way, got me engaged with the story and had me picturing all the charecters and their houses. Id recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a light book and would like to learn about the Irish culture and also to new dubliners.

I was really looking forward to reading this book because of its ratings. I was very disappointed and skipped over a lot of the pages anxious to find something exciting to happen. It had a good ending but overall very boring.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every time we say goodbye by Colette Caddle
I have to say this book gripped me from the first page and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It tells the story of a woman's world that is rocked in many ways when her husband dies unexpectedly and she finds out that he was more or less living a double life. I don't want to give too much away but this story shows how different members off a family deal with grief in their own ways and theirs a lot of twists and turns along the way. This story is excellently written and one is not left dangling at the end as the whole story comes together perfectly. I loved this book, well done Colette keep up the great writing x
