- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 September 2016First time reading this author's work and seeing her compared to Martina Cole, and others I found this book a disappointment to be honest.
I felt it was almost there but not quite. The usual east end or gangster families were missing for me. The coming and going between the two friends I felt was far fetched especially towards the last few chapters. I won't put any more, I won't spoil it for anyone else.
Personally I'm sorry but it just wasn't my style of book.
